SERDANG - Over 120 participants from 22 countries (Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, UK, and Uzbekistan) attend the international conference, International Conference on Recent Advances in Applied Mathematics 2020 (ICRAAM2020).
ICRAAM2020 is the first international conference organized by the Institute for Mathematical Research (INSPEM); Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, UPM; and COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. The conference has been held successfully on February 4 - 6 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The program was officiated by YBhg. Tan Sri Dr. Ghauth Jasmon, Chairman, Board of Directors of Universiti Putra Malaysia.
“The field of mathematics is a rather broad one. The segmentation of the vast areas of mathematics into pure, applied (including statistics) does injustice to this fascinating field such as Applied Mathematics including Cosmology, Fluid Dynamics, Geometric Numerical Integration, Numerical Computation, Difference Equations, Numerical Analysis, Mathematical Cryptology, Statistics and Operational Research and etc. I firmly believe that your presence here during these three days conference will definitely enrich discussions and deliberations as to how we can explore the potentials of research in applied mathematics” he said while do an opening ceremony of ICRAAM2020.
ICRAAM2020 ensured that mathematical research activities are kept up-to-date by exposing new findings to help researchers to be in line with current trends & development. In addition, INSPEM also expanded the scope of its research network through partnerships with external institutions and agencies to further strengthen existing research activities, as well as generated new funding resources.
