On 22-24 August 2014, Laboratory of Computational Sciences and Mathematical Physics, INSPEM has successfully organised INSPEM Mathematics Camp 2014 with Sekolah Menengah Sains Raja Tun Azlan Shah (SERATAS), Taiping, Perak. This programme also received support from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, UPM and Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Society (PERSAMA). A total of 75 students and 5 teachers participated in this programme. The Mathematics Camp is designed to expand students' experiences in embracing the use of mathematical sciences in the real world in line with UPM’s goal of strengthening community involvement in knowledge sharing. Pursuant to the programme’s theme that is Exploring Mathematics beyond Knowledge, INSPEM was happy to implement this programme to serve the community, particularly students of future generations through the sharing of knowledge and experience gained in the field of mathematical sciences. It is hoped that this effort will contribute to the development of  mathematical sciences in the future.
