Serdang, 20 May 2025 – A total of 13 members from the EKSA Committee of the Institute for Mathematical Research (INSPEM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), conducted a Benchmark Visit on the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) to the International Centre (i-PUTRA) UPM on 20 May 2025. This visit aimed to gain firsthand exposure to the implementation of EKSA best practices as practiced by i-PUTRA.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Director of i-PUTRA, YBhg. Prof. Dr. Alyani Ismail, together with members of the i-PUTRA EKSA Committee. A briefing session was held, detailing various initiatives and strategic approaches by i-PUTRA in implementing EKSA, including cleanliness, environmental care, document management, and innovations in organizing a systematic and customer-friendly workspace.

The INSPEM EKSA delegation was also taken on a tour of several EKSA zones around i-PUTRA to observe the actual implementation of best practices. These included office layout, the use of labels and color codes, and efforts to cultivate a culture of excellence among staff. The uniqueness and creativity showcased by i-PUTRA provided inspiration and new ideas that can be adopted in EKSA implementation at INSPEM.

This visit also served as a platform for fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing between institutes, in line with EKSA’s objective to enhance the image of public service through a conducive, clean, and efficient working environment.




INSPEM expresses its utmost appreciation for the warm hospitality and valuable insights shared by i-PUTRA, and hopes that this strategic relationship will continue to strengthen a culture of excellence among UPM staff.
