Serdang, 17 April 2025 - The Institute for Mathematical Research (INSPEM), Universiti Putra Malaysia, underwent the first-level evaluation for the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) at the Responsibility Centre (PTJ) level on 17 April 2025. This evaluation was carried out as part of the selection process for the 2025/2026 Workplace Environment Quality Award.

The evaluation was conducted by two appointed panel assessors: Mr. Shafiq Hariz Mohd Hanafiah, Assistant Registrar from the Faculty of Science (FS), and Mr. Abdul Razak OA Abdul Kareem, Assistant Administrative Officer from the Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP).

The session began with a welcoming speech by INSPEM Deputy Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Asilah Wati Abdul Hamid, followed by a presentation from INSPEM EKSA Coordinator, Mr. Muhamad Asyraf Arshad, who highlighted the implementation and practices of EKSA at INSPEM.

The objective of the evaluation was to ensure that EKSA is effectively implemented, creating a conducive, professional, and high-performing workplace environment at INSPEM. Areas evaluated included the administrative office, main lobby, service counter, computer lab, seminar room, prayer room, toilets, file room, server room, storage room, EKSA activity board, officers' rooms, pantry, Read@Uni corner, green space, and parking area.

The panel assessors informed the PTJ that the official evaluation score would be provided within a week after the evaluation session, and will be emailed to the EKSA INSPEM Coordinator and Committee Secretary once the scoring process is completed.

The EKSA INSPEM Committee expressed appreciation for the cooperation of all INSPEM staff and hopes that continuous improvement efforts will be made to further strengthen a systematic, clean, and professional work culture.
