Serdang, 23 September 2025 – The Institute for Mathematical Research (INSPEM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), organized the INSPEM September 2025 Staff Assembly and Engagement Session with Management, held at the Sultan Idris Shah Forest Education Center (SISFEC), UPM.

The gathering, which brought together the entire INSPEM community, not only served as a platform to strengthen bonds and foster team spirit but was also filled with meaningful activities that enlivened the occasion.

Among the highlights was the Introduction Session of New Appointee, welcoming Dr. Muhammad Usman, Postdoctoral Fellow at INSPEM. This session provided an opportunity for all staff to get to know the new member who will contribute his expertise to research at INSPEM.

In addition, the Engagement Session with INSPEM Management served as a two-way communication platform to share the latest updates on strategic planning, while also allowing staff to express their views, ideas, and suggestions towards enhancing the institute’s excellence.

To promote a healthy lifestyle and environmental sustainability, the event also featured activities such as the “INSPEM Forest Fun Walk: Wellness Together, Nature Preserved” and the “Kutip Sampah Sambil Riadah (KUDAH)” clean-up program. These activities not only encouraged active living but also instilled awareness of the importance of caring for the environment.

As a token of appreciation and moral support, the event also included a Birthday Gift Presentation Ceremony to celebrate staff whose birthdays fell between July and September. Meanwhile, the “Jasamu Dikenang” (In Appreciation of Your Service) Session was held to honor the contributions and dedication of Pn. Noor Haida Abdul Hamid (Executive Officer 3) and Dr. Rahmat Zaki Auliya (Postdoctoral Fellow, INSPEM), who are moving on to new chapters in their careers.

The event successfully strengthened camaraderie, nurtured teamwork, and fostered a deeper sense of unity among INSPEM staff. With the organization of such activities, it is hoped that this spirit of togetherness will continue to flourish, driving INSPEM towards greater excellence in the future.
