Sungai Besi, April 25 – INSPEM’s researchers won a gold medal award and second place for Special Award in Category: Applied Research- Science and Technology in the Defence, Security and Sustainability Exhibition 2019 (DSS2019) held at the National Defence University of Malaysia (UPNM).
The research project entitled Rabin-p Cryptosystem: Secure and Efficient Key Encapsulation Mechanism was submitted by the team comprising of Dr. Muhammad Asyraf Asbullah (Project Leader), Associate Professor Muhammad Rezal Kamel Ariffin (Advisor) and Zahari Mahad (Research Officer).
The Defence, Security and Sustainability Exhibition (DSS) is a biennial event organised by the Centre for Research and Innovation Management under the office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), the National Defence University of Malaysia (UPNM).
This event is organised to provide a platform for researchers to both present and showcase their research works, especially in but not limited to the field of Defence and Security. This exhibition saw a total of 170 participations in diverse areas related to the field of Defence and Security.
