February 25, 2025 – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) have held a strategic discussion to realize the development of UPM’s AI Sandbox based on 5G technology. This discussion marks a significant step in strengthening the research and development (R&D) ecosystem at UPM through the adoption of advanced technology.

During the session, DNB expressed its commitment to signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) as a step towards enhancing strategic collaboration in the fields of innovation and technology. Also present at the event were the Deputy Director of Business Development at Putra Science Park UPM, Associate Professor Dr. Nur 'Aliaa Abd Rahman, and the Director of the Institute for Mathematical Research UPM, Professor Ir. Dr. Aduwati Sali.
