Computational Mathematics and Ethnomathematics Laboratory

Computational Mathematics and Ethnomathematics Laboratory (CMEL) is a mergence of two former laboratories: Laboratory of Computational Sciences and Mathematical Physics, and Laboratory of Ethnomathematics and Didactics.

 

The objectives of the laboratory are:

  • To focus on collaborative scientific research and development in mathematics, and physical sciences.
  • To encourage some areas of mathematics that are of relevance to other sciences and industries.
  • To focus on research in enhancing teaching and learning of mathematics.
  • To strengthen the field of mathematical philosophy and ethnomathematics.
